Abstract:
A DC/DC converter (20) is connected directly to a main battery (MB) with no system relays (SR1,SR2) intervening therebetween. The DC/DC converter (20) drops and then supplies the voltage of a power supplied from the high voltage main battery (MB) to a subsidiary battery (SB). A DC/DC converter control circuit (30) receives a supply of the power from the main battery (MB) to control the dropping operation of the DC/DC converter (20). Even when the subsidiary battery (SB) goes dead, the DC/DC converter (20) is responsive to a control signal outputted from the DC/DC converter control circuit (30) using, as its power supply, the main battery (MB), to perform a boosting operation, thereby quickly charging the subsidiary battery (SB).
