Abstract:
A motor driving apparatus detects the rotation position of a motor by inputting two detection signals from a rotation position sensor, and controls the voltage to be applied to the motor according to the detected rotation position. The motor driving apparatus comprises a control unit that outputs a first voltage in a first state wherein a sum of squares of sampling values that are the result of sampling the two detection signals becomes a prescribed value, and outputs a second voltage in a second state wherein the sum of squares does not become the prescribed value.
