Abstract:

A motor driving device is disclosed. The present motor driving device comprises: a rectification unit for outputting an input voltage by rectifying alternating current power into direct current power; a first buck-boost converter including a plurality of switches for converting the input voltage, and having a buck mode for stepping down the input voltage and a boost mode for stepping up the input voltage; an inverter for converting a direct current link voltage, transformed from the first buck-boost converter, into an alternating current voltage and transferring the alternating current voltage to a motor; and a control unit receiving motor information related to the driving of the motor, so as to compare a desired direct current link voltage, according to the received motor information, with an input voltage level, thereby controlling the switching of only one among any of a plurality of switches so as to operate in the buck mode or the boost mode.
