Abstract:
Provided are a motor driving protection device, an over-voltage protection method and an inverter air conditioner. An over-voltage protection circuit (4) is added to the motor driving protection device. The over-voltage protection circuit (4) is connected in parallel to a direct current bus. An operation control section (7) obtains a voltage value of the direct current bus. When the voltage value of the direct current bus exceeds a first preset value, the operation control section (7) controls a controllable switch to turn on, so that a load is connected to the over-voltage protection circuit (4) so as to reduce the voltage value of the direct current bus; and when the voltage of the direct current bus is lower than a second preset value, the operation control section (7) controls the controlled switch to turn off, so that the load is disconnected from the over-voltage protection circuit (4). Therefore, the high-voltage fluctuation of the pulsating voltage of the direct current bus is absorbed by the over-voltage protection circuit (4), preventing damages of an inverter (5) and a filter capacitor in a direct current smoothing circuit (3) occuring on the pulsating voltage of the direct current bus.
