Abstract:
Provided is a motor in which a shaft is welded or fused to a metal member. The motor comprises: a shaft (5) formed of metal; and a base that includes a metallic substrate (81) covered with a covering layer (83). The covering layer (83) has an opening (83b), and the metal substrate (81) has a recess (84) that is exposed from the opening (83b). An outer peripheral part of the shaft (5) and the recess (84) are welded or fused to each other.
