Abstract:
A motor-operated selector valve used for a refrigerating cycle device for refrigerator-freezer capable of making compatible an increase in performance with an energy saving of a refrigerator-freezer at a higher level, comprising a valve housing having an inlet port normally communicating with a valve chamber and a first outlet port (B) and a second outlet port (C) opening in the bottom surface of the valve chamber, a valve element (17) installed rotatably and displaceably in the valve chamber and having, on the end surface of the valve chamber coming in contact with the bottom surface thereof, a partition wall part (20) dividing the valve element into an open area (18) communicating with the valve chamber and a non-open area not communicating with the open area (18), and a motor-operated actuator for steppingly drivingly rotating the valve element (17), wherein the valve element (17) is switched over to four positions (a) to (d).
