Abstract:
A motor has a rotary section and a stationary section. The rotary section has a shaft which extends along a central axis, a rotor which rotates together with the shaft, and a magnet which is retained by the rotor. The stationary section has a bearing part which rotatably supports the shaft, a stator which is arranged so as to face the radially inward direction of the magnet, and a housing which retains the bearing part and the stator. The rotor has a depressed section which is recessed toward one side in the axial direction and encompasses a portion of the housing. The housing has a first facing part which faces the inside of the depressed section of the rotor on one side in the axial direction. The first facing part has a tapered section which is positioned more radially outward than the bearing part, and for which the distance from the central axis to a radial edge becomes smaller toward one side in the axial direction in at least a portion of the circumferential direction.
