Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to reduce twisting of power feed wiring on the vehicle body side in association with steering, when a wheel is steered. The structure is provided with a knuckle (6) which is steerable about the axis of an imaginary kingpin axis (7) the upper side of which is inclined to the inside in the vehicle width direction with respect to the vehicle body, a wheel (2) rotatably supported by the knuckle (6) and connected to the axle, and an in-wheel motor (5) providing drive power to the axle. In this in-wheel motor driven wheel, a stationary power feed wire (13a) extending from the in-wheel motor (5) and a moveable power feed wire (13b) extending from an on-board power supply are furnished with a rotating power supply terminal (12) for electrical connection of the moveable power feed wire (13b) to the stationary power feed wire (13a) in relatively rotatable fashion. The rotating power supply terminal (12) is situated in the knuckle (6), to the outside of the space of a wheel recess (2a) of the wheel (2).
