Abstract:
A motor power steering system comprising a motor for assisting power, an electronic control unit for controlling the motor, and a gear mechanism for transmitting rotational driving power of the motor to a steering mechanism, wherein an auxiliary steering torque is generated from the motor depending on a steering torque applied to a steering wheel and transmitted to the output shaft of the steering mechanism while being reduced through the gear mechanism. At least any one of the motor, the electronic control unit and the gear mechanism is coated, at a part exposed to the air, with a heat dissipating film exhibiting an emissivity higher than that of the coating material at that part.
