Abstract:
The present invention relates to a motor pump coupler having a configuration in which a motor rotation axis and a pump rotation axis can be automatically aligned, particularly during a connection process. The motor pump coupler comprises a locking bolt and an elastic clamp. The locking bolt, which is a cylindrical pipe, includes: a threaded coupling portion that is formed in a predetermined section of an outer circumferential surface along the longitudinal direction; and a grip portion that is formed in an adjacent section of the threaded coupling portion and can be gripped by hand or by a tool. The elastic clamp includes: a fastening head that is a nut-shaped member coupled to an end of the locking bolt, and has an inner circumferential surface thread for assembly with the threaded coupling portion; and a tightening portion that is a hollow member inserted into the fastening head, and has a plurality of elongated holes formed at fixed intervals along the longitudinal direction, the tightening portion being formed such that the inner diameter elastically decreases as the width of the elongated holes is reduced by external tightening, and the outer and inner diameters gradually decrease toward the ends, wherein the insertion and tightening of the tightening portion in the end of the locking bolt by the coupling of the fastening head and the locking bolt enables the fixing of the motor rotation axis or the pump rotation axis to a hollow portion of the tightening portion. Therefore, the present invention is intended to provide a motor pump coupler having the effect being able to conveniently connect the motor rotation axis and the pump rotation axis, while also automatically align the motor rotation axis and the pump rotation axis at the same time as the connection process.
