Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to ensure the strength of a cover member fixed to a resin sealing member covering a stator. A motor 2 of a pump device 1 is provided with a resin sealing member 13 covering a stator 11, and a cover member 14 cloaking the resin sealing member 13 from the output side L1. Radial ribs 98 are formed on the cover member 14, which is a resin molded article, at positions overlapping, in the axial-line L direction, each intermediate point P between adjacent gate marks 102. Therefore, sections (weld lines P1) at which flows of a resin flowing in from adjacent gates merge during molding of the cover member 14 can be reinforced by the radial ribs 98. The tip surfaces 98a of the radial ribs 98 are located on the same plane as a cover-member-side fixing surface 72 and can be used as fixing surfaces, making it possible to ensure that the area of the fixing surfaces is adequate. In addition, the radial ribs 98 make it possible to extend the fixing surfaces to the inner peripheral side, making it possible to ensure that the fixing strength is adequate.
