A motor rotation speed control method and system. The motor rotation speed control system comprises a motor (200), a control module (300) and a display module (400). The motor (200) comprises a rotor (210) and a stator (220). The rotor (210) comprises an induction rotor portion (212). The stator (220) is coaxially and pivotably disposed on the rotor (210) and comprises an induction stator portion (222). The control module (300) is electrically connected to the rotor (210) and the stator (220) and controls an induction rotor current value (272) of the induction rotor portion (212) and an induction stator current value (274) of the induction stator portion (222) to cause the rotor (210) to produce a rotation speed. When the rotation speed reaches a preset value, the control module (300) decreases or turns off the induction rotor current value (272) to cause the rotor (210) to keep the rotation speed by means of rotational inertia and the induction stator current value (274). The display module (400) is electrically connected to the control module (300) and capable of displaying the rotation speed and a motor current value (270). The magnetic force of the rotor is weakened when the motor operates at high speed, so that the magnetic hysteresis phenomenon of the motor can be alleviated, and further an energy saving effect is achieved.
