Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to provide a motor rotor support suitable for use in axial gap motors and a manufacturing method therefor. A support, which supports a magnetic body that is disposed in the rotor of a motor. The support is configured from a non-magnetic cast steel comprising a composite material containing C: 0.3 - 1.0%, Si: 0.1-2.0%, Mn: 10-25%, Cr: 7-20%, V: 0.1-1.0%, and N: 0.5% or less in mass% with the remainder being obtained from Fe and unavoidable impurities.
