Abstract:
This motor scooter type electric vehicle adopts a configuration wherein a vehicle body frame (11) has an extension frame (24) which extends more rearward than the front end of a seat (3) in the vehicle longitudinal direction; wherein a plurality of driving lead storage cells (6a) are placed side by side in the vehicle width direction, thereby forming a high voltage battery (6A); wherein this high voltage battery (6A) is supported by the extension frame (24), and is disposed only at a location that is below this seat (3) and is rearward of the front end of this seat (3) in the vehicle longitudinal direction; and wherein a step floor (4) is provided at a location that is lower than the upper surface of the high voltage battery (6A).
