Provided are a motor train unit faeces collection system and a working method thereof. The motor train unit faeces collection system comprises a sewage disposal pipeline (2), wherein a toilet (1) and a sewage tank (3) are in communication with each other by means of the sewage disposal pipeline (2), the sewage disposal pipeline (2) is connected to a positive and negative pressure switching device, the positive and negative pressure switching device comprises a bypass pipeline (12), openings at two ends of the bypass pipeline (12) are both in communication with the sewage disposal pipeline (2), a piston (4) is provided in the bypass pipeline (12), the piston (4) is connected to a reciprocating motion device (5), and the piston (4) is driven to move by means of the reciprocating motion device (5) so that the positive and negative pressure conditions of an upper area and a lower area of the bypass pipeline (12) can be switched. The motor train unit faeces collection system has no need for an intermediate tank structure, thus having a simple structure and consuming a low amount of energy.
