Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an electric assist bicycle motor unit 13 or the like such that the assist amount can be more easily customized. One aspect of the present invention is characterized by comprising: a storage unit 15 in which a data table showing an assist amount for assisting pedal force based on pedal force and travel speed is stored; and a motor 17 to which auxiliary power corresponding to the assist amount is applied by being supplied with an electric current based on the data table. The data table is divided into a plurality of regions formed from a plurality of cells into which assist amounts associated with a plurality of kinds of pedal forces and a plurality of kinds of travel speeds can be entered, and the assist amounts can be changed for each region.
