Abstract:
This motor unit comprises a motor, a housing that houses the motor, and oil housed inside the housing. The housing has provided therein an oil path that circulates oil and supplies the oil to the motor from above the motor. The oil path has provided therein a reservoir that is arranged above the motor and accumulates oil. The reservoir has: a main chute that extends along the axial direction and receives oil supplied from the upstream side of the oil path; and a pair of side chutes each extending toward one side in the circumferential direction from end sections on either side of the main chute in the axial direction. Flow discharge ports that each supply oil from inside the reservoir to the coil end of the motor are provided in the pair of side chutes.
