Abstract:
In an embodiment of a motor unit according to the present invention, a motor shaft has a recess which is recessed from one axial end surface of the motor shaft toward the other axial side. A transmitting mechanism has: a cylindrical connection shaft, the other axial end of which fits into the recess; and a carrier pin which rotatably supports a planetary gear. An oil passage has: an oil passage section within the connection shaft; an annular oil passage section which is disposed between the inner peripheral surface of the recess and the outer peripheral surface of the other axial end of the connection shaft; a first radial oil passage section which is disposed at the other axial end of the connection shaft and which extends in a radial direction; a second radial oil passage section which is disposed at one axial end of the motor shaft and which extends in the radial direction; an oil passage section within the carrier pin, which is provided within the carrier pin and which is open to an axial end surface of the carrier pin and to the outer peripheral surface of the carrier pin; and a connection oil passage section which connects the second radial oil passage section and a portion of the oil passage section within the carrier pin, the portion being open to the end surface.
