Abstract:
According to one aspect, this motor unit is provided with: a motor having a rotor which rotates about a motor axis and a stator which is located radially outside the rotor; an inverter that controls current supplied to the motor; and a housing having a motor accommodating part for accommodating therein the motor and an inverter accommodating part for accommodating therein the inverter. The housing further has an inverter housing provided with a top plate which covers an opening of the inverter accommodating part. The inverter is fixed to the back surface, of the top plate, directed toward the inner side of the inverter accommodating part.
