Abstract:
An embodiment of this motor comprises a motor body having a rotor capable of rotating about a center axis and a stator surrounding the rotor from the radially outward side, and a housing that houses the motor body. The housing has a cylindrical part that extends in the axial direction and houses the motor body. An opposing inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical part, which faces radially inwards, opposes the outer peripheral surface of the stator. The smallest inside diameter of the opposing inner peripheral surface is greater than the outside diameter of the stator. The difference between the outside diameter of the stator and the smallest inside diameter is less than the difference between the inside diameter of the stator and the outside diameter of the rotor.
