Abstract:
The invention relates to a motor vehicle control device comprising a computing unit (10) for determining at least one variable characteristic, especially a roadway incline (p) and/or the mass (M) of a motor vehicle, according to the temporal course of at least one sensor variable (v, a) detected by a sensor (11). According to the invention, the computing unit (10) is used to select a method (12 - 15) for determining the characteristic (M, p) according to a decision variable (?t, ?p) from a group of methods (12 - 15).
