Abstract:
The invention relates to a motor vehicle disc brake having a carrier (12) which has two stepped bores with parallel axes, each one of which has at least one first section (28, 30), and a caliper (10) which is mounted so as to slide axially with respect to the carrier (12) by way of two pins (16, 18) with parallel axes (A, B) which are secured to the caliper (10) and each have at least one guide section (24, 26) which is mounted so as to slide, with radial clearance, in the stepped bore (29, 31) of the carrier (12), in which brake an external cylindrical guide surface of the section (24, 26) for guiding the sliding of each pin (16, 18) has at least two opposite axial portions (64) that extend angularly around the axis (A, B) of each pin (16, 18) at an angle of less than 90°, an axial midplane of these two portions (64) being parallel to a plane passing through the axes (A, B) of the two pins (16, 18).
