A motor vehicle foot rest support and a motor vehicle foot rest, for use in resolving the problem that existing motor vehicle foot rests are easy to deform and break. For this purpose, the motor vehicle foot rest support comprises a first support component (20) and a second support component (30). The first support component (20) is fixed in a motor vehicle, and the second support component (30) is connected to the first support component (20) and used for fixing a foot rest panel (10), wherein the second support component (30) is of an approximately L-shaped plate structure, so that a part of the second support component (30) extends to the bottom of the fixed foot rest panel (10) to support the foot rest panel (10). The motor vehicle foot rest support increases the structural rigidity and strength of the foot rest by means of the approximately L-shaped plate structure of the second support component (30), thereby reducing the deformations of the foot rest under poor road conditions or during emergency braking.
