Abstract:
A sliding door (10) for a motor vehicle, comprising an upper guide rail module (100), a lower guide rail module (200) and a flexible door panel (300). The upper guide rail module (100) and the lower guide rail module (200) respectively cooperate with a guide rail assembly on the vehicle body to guide and support the movement of the sliding door (10). The flexible door panel (300) is connected between the upper guide rail module (100) and the lower guide rail module (200). Further provided are the motor vehicle employing the sliding door (10) described above, and upper and lower door panel assemblies for the sliding door (10). The flexible deformation of the flexible door panel (300) can absorb the relative position deviation between the upper and lower guide rails of the sliding door (10), facilitate the installation of the sliding door (10), facilitate the smooth operation of the sliding door (10), improve the user experience, reduce the damage to the sliding door caused by the position deviation, and extend the service life of the sliding door (10).
