Abstract:
A motor (50) with a permanent magnet embedded therein comprises: a rotor (100); a stator (1); permanent magnets (14) inserted into magnet housing holes (13); and slits (9) at positions to the outside of each of the magnet housing holes (13) in the radial direction. In each region where a magnet housing hole faces a slit, there is a gap (10) between the radially-outward surface (14b) of a permanent magnet and the rotor core. In each region facing a slit, the respective permanent magnet is separated from the rotor core by the respective gap.
