Abstract:
According to the present invention, since a damper member 80, which is elastically deformed due to the relative rotation of a worm wheel 39 and an output member 70, is provided between the worm wheel 39 and the output member 70, and since a gap section SP is provided between the worm wheel 39 and the output member 70 and accommodates a portion DP that bulges due to the elastic deformation of the damper member 80, the portion DP that has bulged due to the elastic deformation of the damper member 80 does not press the output member 70 to be drawn away from the worm wheel 39. Therefore, the output member 70 is not required to be fixed in a manner that does not allow movement in the axial direction of a supporting shaft by using a fixing member, as was required in the past, while being provided with the damper member 80, and the strength of the supporting shaft can be reduced. Moreover, good shock resistance and quietness are achieved and a cost reduction can be realized.
