Abstract:
A motor includes a bracket including a circumferential wall portion and an end wall portion, and arranged to accommodate a rotor, a stator, etc. A shaft support portion is arranged on an inside of the end wall portion to rotatably support a shaft through a first bearing and a second bearing. The second bearing has a diameter smaller than that of the first bearing. The shaft support portion has a smaller outside diameter at a top portion than at a base portion thereof. A circuit board having a switching element mounted thereon is accommodated in the bracket. The bracket includes a flat portion defined therein. The switching element is arranged on a predetermined portion of a periphery portion of the circuit board which is radially outward of the rotor and opposite the flat portion, and is arranged in contact with the flat portion through an insulating heat transmitting member.
