Abstract:

This motor is provided with: a shaft the center of which is a center axis extending in the vertical direction; a bearing mechanism that rotatably supports the shaft; an armature disposed radially outside the bearing mechanism; a bracket to which the bearing mechanism and the armature are fixed; and a rotor which has a cylindrical shape provided with a lid and which is connected to the shaft. The bearing mechanism includes a lower ball bearing which supports the lower portion of the shaft and includes an upper ball bearing which is disposed above the lower bearing and which supports the shaft. The shaft includes a shaft body having, at the lower end thereof, a male screw portion protruding downward to an area below the lower ball bearing, and includes a nut which is attached to the male screw portion. The lower surface of an inner ring of the lower ball bearing is in contact with the upper surface of the nut, and the upper surface of an outer ring of the lower ball bearing is supported, in the vertical direction, by a cylindrical part of the bracket. An inner ring of the upper ball bearing is fixed, in the vertical direction, to the shaft body. The lower surface of an outer ring of the upper ball bearing is supported, in the vertical direction, by the cylindrical part via an elastic member.
