Abstract:
This motor is equipped with: a shaft which is oriented in a vertical direction and is centered about a central axis; a bearing mechanism which rotatably supports the shaft; an armature which is positioned to the outer side of the bearing mechanism in the radial direction; a bracket to which the bearing mechanism and the armature are fixed; and a rotor which has the shape of a lidded cylinder and is connected to the shaft. The rotor is equipped with a disc-shaped rotor lid which is connected to the shaft, and a rotor side wall which extends downward from the outer edge of the rotor lid. The shaft is made of metal, and the rotor lid and rotor side wall are made of resin. The rotor lid and the shaft are integrally-molded components.
