Abstract:
A motor according to an aspect of the present invention is provided with: a rotor; a tubular stator disposed outside the rotor in the radial direction of the rotor and surrounding the rotor; and a tubular housing disposed outside the stator in the radial direction and accommodating the rotor and the stator. The stator has: a plurality of teeth disposed in the circumferential direction and extending in the radial direction; and a plurality of coils wound around the plurality of teeth, respectively. A sealed chamber, which is filled with a first cooling medium and sealed, is provided between the housing and the rotor. A receiving space, in which a rotor core is received, is provided inside the sealed chamber in the radial direction. The sealed chamber has; an inner chamber receiving a plurality of coils; an outer chamber disposed outside the inner chamber in the radial direction and extending in the circumferential direction; an upper connection part positioned above a shaft in the vertical direction and connecting the inner chamber and the outer chamber; and a lower connection part positioned under the shaft in the vertical direction and connecting the inner chamber and the outer chamber.
