Abstract:
A motor wherein an armature core has multiple teeth aligned adjacent to each other. Each of the multiple teeth accommodates multiple permanent magnets. A salient pole element has one or more salient poles arranged facing the teeth. Each of the permanent magnets accommodated in two adjacent teeth is arranged facing the same magnetic pole. When the pitch of the teeth is P1 and the pitch of the salient poles is P2, (P1/P2) < 1/6 or 5/6 < (P1/P2) < 7/6 is satisfied.
