This motor is provided with: a rotor that has a shaft disposed along the center axis extending in the vertical direction and that rotates about the center axis; and a stator that opposes the rotor via a gap in the radial direction; a housing that has a cylindrical portion surrounding the stator from the radially outer side; a bearing that rotatably supports the shaft; and a bearing holder that supports the bearing fixed to the cylindrical portion. The bearing holder has: a holding portion that holds the bearing; a flat portion that extends along a flat surface perpendicular to the center axis on the radially outer side of the holding portion; and an extension portion that extends along the axial direction from the outer edge of the flat portion. The extension portion has a first contact surface that is disposed along the circumferential direction and that is oriented radially outward and is in contact with the inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical portion. The first contact surface is disposed so as to be displaced from the flat portion in the axial direction, and overlaps, at least partially, with the holding portion in the axial direction.
