Abstract:
This motor is equipped with a rotor which has a shaft positioned along a center axis, a stator which faces the rotor with a gap interposed therebetween in the radial direction, a housing for housing the rotor and the stator, and a contact member which is attached to the housing and can be contacted by a terminal of an external device. The housing has a lid part for covering one side of the stator in the axial direction. One part of the surface of the lid part on the one side thereof in the axial direction is a planar section which projects toward the one side in the axial direction of recesses toward the other side in the axial direction. The contact member is positioned on the planar section.
