Abstract:
This motor according to one aspect of the present invention is provided with: a rotor that has a shaft disposed along the center axis extending in the vertical direction and that is rotatable around the center axis; a stator that opposes the rotor with a gap therebetween in the radial direction; and a housing that houses the rotor and the stator. The housing has a cylindrical part that extends along the center axis, and a bottom part that closes an opening on the lower side of the cylindrical part. The inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical part is provided with: a fitting part that is fitted to the stator; and a tapered part which is located on the lower side relative to the fitting part and the diameter of which decreases toward the lower side. The outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical part is provided with a recess part which extends along the circumferential direction and the axial direction position of which overlaps with the tapered part.
