Abstract:
The present invention provides a motor comprising: a shaft; a rotor coupled to the shaft; and a stator disposed outside the rotor, wherein: the rotor comprises a rotor core having multiple pockets formed radially about the shaft, and magnets inserted into the pockets, respectively; the rotor core, which is disposed outside the magnets, comprises multiple core plates stacked on each other in the axial direction; each of the core plates comprises a center part and multiple radial parts connected to the center part; each of the multiple radial parts comprises a stepped portion having pocket-forming surfaces and steps; and the multiple stepped portions of the multiple radial parts include at least two of a first stepped portion, a second stepped portion, a third stepped portion, and a fourth stepped portion having different shapes.
