Abstract:

The present invention reduces the cost of motorcycle clutch devices. This device is equipped with a clutch center (21), a pressure plate (22), two cone clutches (C1, C2), a coil spring (40), and a release member (30). The two cone clutches (C1, C2) are respectively provided with a pressure-receiving surface (2b, 2c) and a friction surface (25a, 26a) that is pressed against the pressure-receiving surface (2b, 2c) by a biasing force. The coil spring (40) biases the clutch center (21) and the pressure plate (22), whereby the cone clutches (C1, C2) become placed in a power transmitting state. The release member (30) is provided with a plurality of protruding portions (32) which extend toward the pressure plate (22) and are secured to the pressure plate (22), and releases the biasing force on the clutch center (21) and the pressure plate (22).
