Title:
MOTORCYCLE PARKING STAND APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/203508
Kind Code:
A2
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a motorcycle parking stand apparatus that allows a motorcycle to be parked in a horizontal state by lowering rods of a pair of cylinder devices until the ground is reached when an engine is stopped by turning off a power switch when the motorcycle is parked. The motorcycle parking stand apparatus comprises: a main motor (4) that is rotated in a forward direction and a reverse direction by a power supply; a shaft (5) which is integrally connected with a rotary shaft of the main motor (4) and is rotated in a forward direction and a reverse direction according to the driving of the main motor (4); a pair of cylinder devices (3) which, when starting the engine of the motorcycle by turning on a power switch (2) for turning on/off the engine, allows rods (31) in close contact with the ground to rise and then be kept in a horizontal state by means of the shaft (5) rotated by the drive of the main motor (4), thereby enabling the motorcycle to be driven, and when the engine is stopped by turning off the power switch (2) for parking the motorcycle, allows the rods (31) to be positioned in a vertical state by the shaft (5) rotated by the drive of the main motor (4) and then be lowered, such that the bottom surfaces of the rods (31) contact the ground so as to support the motorcycle upright, thereby enabling the motorcycle to be parked; and a control unit (6) for controlling the cylinder devices (3) in such a manner that, when the engine is started by turning on the power switch (2), the main motor (4) is driven to position the rod (31) of each of the cylinder devices (3) mounted on the shaft (5) in a horizontal state, and when the engine is stopped by turning off the power switch (2) when parking the motorcycle, the main motor (4) is driven to position the rod (31) of each of the cylinder devices (3) mounted on the shaft (5) in a vertical state, such that the bottom surfaces of the rods (31) contact the ground.
