Abstract:
Provided is a motorcycle in which damage to a transmission and a clutch can be reduced. A motorcycle (1) comprises: a drive motor (40); a transmission (80); a clutch (50) for connecting and disconnecting the transmission of power between the transmission (80) and the drive motor (40); a mechanical oil pump (70) that is driven by the drive motor (40) and supplies a cooling oil to the drive motor (40) and the transmission (80); and a control unit (10) that drives the drive motor (40) and causes the drive motor (40) and the transmission (80) to be supplied with the cooling oil if it is detected that the motorcycle is in a neutral state while an acceleration operation is not being detected, or if it is detected that the clutch (50) is in a disconnected state while an acceleration operation is not being detected.
