Abstract:
The inventive mould for casting a liquid metal comprises a shaped surface (24) corresponding to a castable product surface and contacting the liquid metal. Said mould also comprises a heat removing part (10) made of a material whose thermal conductivity is greater than 150 W/mK. The invention can be used for producing cast-iron pipes.
