Provided is a mould strip, comprising a mould strip body (1), wherein the mould strip body (1) has a lath-shaped structure, several protrusions A of a rectangular shape are distributed on one side of the mould strip body (1), and the height of the protrusions A is approximately equal to the thickness of the mould strip body, and the other side is correspondingly provided with several clamping grooves (3) respectively matching various protrusions A, and a plurality of through holes (4) are distributed on a length centre line of the mould strip body (1) at equal intervals. Further provided is a modular outer frame with a decorative component, comprising at least one mould strip and at least one mould strip connecting member, wherein the mould strip connecting member is used for splicing the mould strip, the mould strip connecting member comprises a connecting body, at least two connectors (6) are provided on a side face of the connecting body, and the connectors (6) are respectively connected to corresponding through holes (4) on the spliced mould strip body (1) in a clamping way, solving the problems of resource waste and not being environmentally friendly caused by a single and unchangeable structure unable to be assembled with each other in existing products.
