Abstract:
A mountain climbing stick with illuminating means comprises a shaft (1) and a handle (2). The handle (2) is hollow and a battery chamber for mounting batteries (18) inside of it. A rotating cover (7) is installed at the end part of the handle (2), and the rotating cover (7) is pivotally connected with the handle (2) by a pivot (9). A bulb (6) is installed at the opposite to the shaft (1) of the stick, and the bulb (6) connects with the batteries (18) via an electric circuit. A cup-shaped transparent waterproof cover (8) is mounted around the bulb (6). A waterproof casing (4) is installed at the position that the rotating cover (7) buckles atthe handle (2). A connection-peg (13) under the waterproof casing (4) is located at the opening of the battery chamber. The connecting wire (10) of the bulb (6) connects the switch button (5) and the connection-peg (13) in series.
