Abstract:
This mounting device comprises a mounting head which has a rotary body holding a plurality of collecting members capable of collecting components at predetermined intervals along a predetermined circumference, and which rotates the plurality of collecting members by rotating the rotary body. The mounting device performs a forward rotation collecting process, in which a component is collected by the collecting member from a supply part for supplying the component and the rotary body is rotated forward, and performs a reverse rotation collecting process when an empty collecting member is determined to be present on the basis of an error indicating that a component is not being held, wherein the reverse rotation collecting process includes a process for rotating the rotary body in reverse and a process for collecting a component from the supply part into the empty collecting member.
