Abstract:
On the basis of information relating to the height of a leading end portion 92 in a component 90, said leading end portion being a subject, an image of which is to be picked up, the CPU of the controller of a mounting device determines aperture and exposure time so as to have the leading end portion 92 within the depth of field (DOF) of a component camera 50, and the CPU controls the component camera 50 so as to have the component camera pick up an image of the component with the aperture and exposure time thus determined.
