Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of improving the strength of a housing. A mounting fitting (2) is provided with mounting members (20) mounted to the housing of a connector. The housing has a bottom wall and a peripheral wall which surrounds the bottom wall. The peripheral wall is composed of a pair of first side walls and a pair of second side walls. The pair of first side walls each hold a plurality of contacts such that the contacts are arranged side-by-side in the arrangement direction. The pair of second side walls each connect ends of the pair of first side walls. The mounting members (20) have first mounting sections (21) and second mounting sections (22). The first mounting sections (21) cover at least the portions of the first side walls, where the plurality of contacts are not arranged. The second mounting sections (22) are located away from the first mounting sections (21) and cover at least portions of the second side walls.
