Abstract:
A mounting mechanism for use with a ship propeller shaft having adjustable clearance, comprising: a base (1), a telescopic mechanism (3), and a moving plate (2), the telescopic mechanism (3) being mounted between the base (1) and the moving plate (2); further comprised are two limiting wheels (4) and one supporting wheel (5), wherein the supporting wheel (5) is installed at the middle of the moving plate (2), while the limiting wheels (4) are mounted at two sides of the supporting wheel (5), the limiting wheels (4) being higher than the supporting wheel (5); inner portions of two sides of the moving plate (2) are provided with sliding chambers (21), bottom portions of the limiting wheels (4) being mounted within the sliding chambers (21) by means of moving columns (41), while the moving columns (41) are slidingly connected within the sliding chambers; the sliding chambers (21) are outwardly extendingly provided with threaded grooves (22), the threaded grooves (22) being provided therein with drive screws (23), and the drive screws (23) pushing the moving columns (41) to move. In the present invention, the moving columns may be pushed to move by means of the rotation of the drive screws, which then drives the movement of the limiting wheels, enabling the adjustment of the clearance between the two limiting wheels so as to adapt to propeller shafts of different sizes.
