Abstract:
A mounting structure of a drum brake assembly, and an axle assembly. The mounting structure of the drum brake assembly comprises an axle (10), a main beam (20), and a brake assembly. The axle extends in the transverse direction of the main beam and is fixedly connected to the main beam. The main beam comprises two side walls, a top wall, a bottom wall, the two side walls, the top wall and the bottom wall jointly defining an accommodating cavity. The brake assembly comprises a brake backing plate (11), a camshaft (30), an adjusting arm (40) and a brake air chamber (50). The extending direction of the camshaft is consistent with the extending direction of the axle. The inner side end of the camshaft passes through the outer side wall of the main beam and extends into the accommodating cavity. One end of the adjusting arm is connected to the inner side end of the camshaft, and the other end of the adjusting arm penetrates from the bottom wall of the main beam to a position below the main beam. The brake air chamber is mounted on the main beam. A push rod (51) of the brake air chamber is connected to the other end of the adjusting arm and used for driving the adjusting arm to swing. The mounting structure facilitates the deployment of other parts of the vehicle. Meanwhile, the length of the cam shaft is shortened to improve the assembly precision of the cam shaft.
