A mouth plug unit (12) comprises a pouring piece (18) to be fixed to a packing container, a cap (20) to be screwed over an externally threaded portion (28) provided in the pouring piece (18), a cartridge (22) having a closed end (52), an open end (54) located on the opposite side of the closed end and a cleavable blocking member (68) for blocking the open end, and a cleaving claw (40) provided in the pouring piece (18). A screw portion threaded reversely to the externally threaded portion (28) of the pouring piece (18) is provided between the inner circumferential surface of the pouring piece (18) and the outer circumferential surface of the cartridge (22), wherein the cap (20) engages with the closed end (52) of the cartridge (22), and, when the cap (20) is turned in the opening direction of the plug, the cartridge (22) moves away from the cap (20) in the pouring piece (18) and the blocking member (68) is cleaved by the cleaving claw (40).
