Abstract:
This mouthpiece (76) is detachably attached to the upper jaw teeth array of a patient. A mouthpiece body (78) has an approximately uniform thickness, and has, on an occlusal surface of the mouthpiece body (78), lower jaw teeth array indentations (84) at a jaw occlusal position during optimal mastication that balances basic muscle tone of the patient's whole body. When the patient attaches the mouthpiece (76) to the upper jaw teeth array and brings the mouthpiece into a mastication occlusal state or a resting occlusal state, the lower jaw teeth array is guided to a correct positional relationship, which balances the basic muscle tone of the whole body, with respect to the upper jaw teeth array by means of tongue-jaw reflex or mastication muscle-jaw reflex of the patient due to the attachment of the mouthpiece (76), and pain symptoms in the whole body can be eliminated or remarkably mitigated.
