Abstract:

It is intended to provide a cheek-enhancing piece which can be easily and economically used in a fashionable way similar to fake fingernails or false eyelashes and can be fitted into the vestibulum of one’s own oral cavity. Namely, a cheek-enhancing piece made of a synthetic resin which has appropriate flexibility, rubber elasticity and shape-retention properties at room temperature, never becomes deformed at the human bodily temperature and can be freely shaped by heating. This cheek-enhancing piece is characterized by having a length corresponding to the distance from the human left molar to the right molar and a vertical size (width) shorter than the gingival height in the vestibulum of the oral cavity, having an enlarged depth size (thickness) at the part where the gingiva faces to the buccal mucosa and at the part where the front gingiva faces to the labial mucosa in the vestibulum of the oral cavity by throwing out the parts toward the buccal mucosa side and the labial mucosa side respectively while having a reduced depth size at the part where the canine gingiva faces to the labial mucosa, and having such a shape as compensating the unevenness and giving a smoothly curved outline as a whole.
