A movable base for a robot, comprising: a base plate (1), wherein guide wheels (13) are fixedly connected to two ends of one side of an outer wall of the bottom of the base plate (1); rear wheels (3) are fixedly connected to two ends of the other side of the outer wall of the bottom of the base plate (1); a mounting plate (10) is arranged above the base plate (1); a storage shell (15) is fixedly connected to four sides of the outer wall of the bottom of the base plate (1); a rotating rod is connected to one end of an outer wall of the top of the storage shell (15) by means of a bearing; a support arm (7) is fixedly connected to a side outer wall of the rotating rod; one end of an outer wall of the top of the support arm (7) is provided with a threaded hole; a screw (5) is connected to a side inner wall of the threaded hole by means of threads; and a rotary knob (6) is fixedly connected to an outer wall of the top of the screw (5). In the movable base for a robot, the support area of the base on the ground can be increased, such that same can prevent the robot from falling down, and the stability is improved. The space occupied by the base can be reduced by storing the support arm (7) in the storage shell (15), movement is thus facilitated, external dust can be prevented from entering the movable base, and a dustproof effect is achieved.
